This was originally begun in 1989 and soon after the project was aborted.

Later in the year 1999 the piece was resurrected from under a pile of leaves.

With the help of assistants Heather, Richard and Donald, it was given life and aptly named the Blob.

It is also a lamp, tiled with ceramic materials and stoneware "thorns".
