Chapel of the Saints was added to the  grounds at Luna Parc in 2002.

Ricky was inspired to build this while thinking of his late grandfather, Guiseppe Boscarino, who used to tell about a little church in Comiso, Sicily.  In the early 1920's, Grandpa Guiseppe witnessed a miracle on the Feast of San Biaggio, the patron saint of that little Sicilian town.

On that day, a little crippled boy was healed and ran to his mother to the cheering and sobbing of worshipers.

Ricky says that "when Grandpa would retell this story, he would cry and say that he would never forget it".

This Chapel is dedicated to his memory of the Miracle.

It serves as a prayerful, meditative space for Ricky and is available for weddings and other celebrations.

The recently repainted outhouse stands as a reminder of the humble origins of Luna Parc.

House of Blue Bottles 2004

House of Blue Bottles 2006
House of Blue Bottles (right) is a work in progress.

Imagine these bottles cemented one on top of the other until they take the shape of an igloo, a glowing mound of cobalt blue when lit from the inside at night, and a peaceful place of cool blue light in the daytime.

The ultimate height of the structure is not determined yet, but Ricky anticipates the completed height of 14 feet. Tall enough to enter and to be used as a meditation pavilion. An estimated 2800 bottles will be needed to complete the structure.

Many brands of water, wine and vodka now are sold in blue bottles. If you would like to contribute to the project, donations are always appreciated, any blue glass bottle can be used.

If you have blue bottles , you can be part of the creative force behind the House of Blue Bottles.  Send  bottles to:  Luna Parc, 22 De Groat Road, Montague, NJ 07827

Ricky and his sister JoAnn built this hexagonal pavilion, the Christmas Hut, to house Ricky's collection of Christmas kitsch. Leaning toward the dark side of Christmas the collection is one of his favorites, and since Ricky's birthday is just before the holiday (Dec 15) it is an especially sentimental one too. It is painted in festive Christmas red and green.  This remains decorated in a Christmas theme with Santa on top all year long.  He claims, Everyday is Christmas, every night is Halloween.

The Novena Grotto on the right contains nine candle niches for the ritual of novena.

It is built of fieldstone from the property. The main niche in the center holds the infant of Prague.

The opposite side of the grotto is a Buddhist stuppa.

The crutches commemorate Grandpa's memory of the Miracle of San Biaggio.
