Notes on my Ceramic Process
All pieces are of course
one-of-a-kind, made by me.
A majority of the pieces are earthenware unless noted.
Most are not intended to be used and are Not food safe. My
philosophy is that surface is 50% of the finished piece
therefore I spend an equal amount of time developing glazes
as making the pieces. The result is the work I bring to you
in these pages. There are hundreds more pieces that are
impossible to show here, but the section you are viewing
will be updated from time to time with new images.
My luster work is the result of several years of research
and countless experiments. The work was extremely
frustrating and at times exasperating, but the seduction of
the luster is strong and I did persevere.
