This piece is a depiction
of Ricky's Potbelly Pig named Webster. Ricky got
Webster in Tennessee. The pig lived in the house
at Luna Parc for two years. He was named Webster
after the dictionary because he was so smart.
Because he was so short lived, his monument at Luna Parc
reads "We hardly knew ye".
Purebred Potbelly Pigs
have straight tails. Ricky has taken artistic
liberty with this piece and given it a curly tail like a
farm hog, and to make the piece more fun the tail moves
as you walk.
Each
piece is a work of art and no two are exactly alike.
Many have moving parts. All are
splendid
interpretations of animal forms, hand made by the
repousee
method
of metal forming in limited editions.
Original designs in 925 Sterling Silver,
Bronze or an artful combination of those metals.
