The New York
Times has written about Luna Parc.
HGTV's "Extreme Homes"
and "Offbeat America" have both documented it.
And an episode of "Ultimate
Road Trip" was filmed here after their producers found Ricky
on the Weird
New Jersey website.
Now the total virtual reality
tour of Ricky's incredible home and atelier is here for your touring
pleasure on the web, including the Under Construction
Museum and Ballroom Wing.
This
artistic work-in-progress is called Luna Parc
after an amusement park in Rome.
The on-line tour now includes extravagant
mosaic work, whimsical outdoor sculpture, and a bathroom like
nothing else in the world. ,Luna Parc, like all of Ricky's
creations, reflect a sensibility that is wholly original and
uniquely Ricky Boscarino.
Ricky is
artist-in-residence at this fabulous, fanciful and phantasmagoric
house, cozily nestled in a forest glade amidst the wilds of woodland
New Jersey. Surrounded by an elaborate profusion of flora and
populated by an exotic menagerie of fauna ranging from pigs to
peacocks, Luna Parc is a continuously evolving expression of
Boscarino's creativity and provides a constant source of inspiration
for it.
Please enjoy your visit
online, keeping in mind that Luna Parc is the private home and
workspace of its creator, Ricky Boscarino.
This
virtual tour of Luna Parc gives you a peak into the mind and world of
this madcap artist from the comfort of your own home.
Luna Parc
is not open to the public and we ask that you please respect Ricky's privacy.
Some of the pictures on the
tour might take a moment to load, depending on your modem speed and
other factors. They're worth waiting for. If you find links that don't seem to work or pictures
that don't load, please e-mail Ricky's
Webmaster.
