The idea for Luna Parc's opulent bathroom materialized after Ricky's visits to the famous Turkish Baths of Budapest and the ancient Roman Baths of Caracala.

Completed early in the year 2000, this epic tribute to hedonism took five years of creative energy by Ricky and several friends and family members.

It stands as a sacred space honoring the body and it's functions.

The New York Times called it "the capacious toon-terrazzo bathroom, Mr. Boscarino's Sistine cistern."  Click here for the full text of the Times article

The magnificent mosaics on the walls, floor and just about everything else are inspired by the images of Klimt, Hundertwasser and Gaudi.

This Bathroom contains an estimated 907,283 pieces of broken tile, stone and other ceramic artifacts .

The effect is dazzling and elegant.

There's more to see in the bathroom after you have taken time to look at the stained glass windows shown surrounding the tub (right) and shown in detail below.

Each was hand crafted by Ricky Boscarino and brilliantly represents the phases of life in botanical themes, representing from left to right, The Miracle of Conception, Growth and Blooming into Adolescence, Labor as Bees in the Hive, and Eventual Death and Rebirth and the ongoing cycle continues.
