Entrance and side view of bathroom
From this angle one can see the entrance to the original residence at Luna Parc shown on the left.  On the right we see the mosaic facades of the recently added bathroom under the cupola.
The many mosaic facades are inspired by the work of Gaudi, Hundertwasser and Klimt. Continuing in the great tradition of mosaic art, Ricky intends to cover every bare concrete surface.

The materials are generally, high fire ceramic, such as stoneware and porcelain, as well as glass and broken tea cups.  For the harsh climate of winter, all materials need be weather resistant.

Also embedded in the walls are many tiles Ricky has collected from artists he meets at the many craft shows that he attends.

The process of tiling is quite time consuming Ricky claims" I want to make as many cement sculptures as I can while I am relatively young and spend my old age tiling them.

I plan to live to 100 at least and it is a good thing as there is a lot to do."
More detailed pictures of the incredible mosaic work on the exterior of the bathroom are shown below.

The indoor and outdoor mosaic work on the residence at Luna Parc is comprised of literally millions of pieces of tile, pottery, broken china, figurines, natural stone, glass and more.
